Biography

Born in Athens, Greece a long time ago. I went to Newcastle University in 1979 and stayed there for 6 years getting a BA in Politics and then an MA by research in Political Studies (International Political Economy). It was during my stay at Newcastle that I became hooked on computers as I started seing how much more useful computers could be than the card based indexing system I was using.

In 1988/89 I spend a year teaching at the then Sunderland Polytechnic, and since 1989 I have been at the University of Dundee.

Interests

My interests are computers and roses. What do they have in common? Nothing at all and that is the whole idea. However I do manage to speak to both my computers and roses. The funny thing is they talk back to me. One day I might start a page for roses, however, for the time being you can visit
