Hermes II options
You can unsubscribe from receiving messages from Hermes II but you can not unsubscribe from Hermes I. To tell the two mechanisms apart see the subject line of the message which will have one of the following two tags:
- If the tag = [Hermes] then the message is deemed to be important and has to be mailed to the selected group(s) of recipients. Message topics may include changes in policy, rules, security alerts, emergencies, Academic Council meetings and so on. You can not opt out.
- If the tag = [Hermes II] then the message is a weekly distribution of a variety of items of information. You can opt out from receiving email from Hermes II.
Opting out from (or back in to) Hermes II
It is possible to opt out from receiving Hermes II messages and if you change your mind you can opt back in and so on.
- You must have an ID and password to access the intranet. All staff and students can access the intranet, and instructions for obtaining an ID and password are available on the intranet page
- Once you have your id and password, go to the opt-in/out form and select your preference.
