                                    BIG JAM TUESDAY 21ST SEPT CHAPLAINCY CENTRE
Audience: ALL

People and Planet along with Amnesty Int. will be holding A BIG JAM, where solo musicians,singer songwriter's, poets as well as some of Dundee's local bands(The Altres, The Alchemist & The A Forest) will get together for a great evening of entertainment.Serving Fair Trade wine and other F.T goodies. Admission is £1 (to cover equipt. hire). Doors 7pm Chaplaincy Centre.
 


                                    VOLUNTEERS REQUIRED
Audience: ALL

To act as control subjects in a study investigating the role of genetic and environmental factors in susceptibility to bipolar mood disorder (manic depression. If you are Caucasian and 18 years or over, interested in taking part, or, require further information, please contact the research nurse: Alison McGinnis, Extn 35311, email alison@memo.dundee.ac.uk.
 


                                    INSPIRATION AND DISCOVERY

                                    ENGLISH LANGUAGE SUPPORT PROGRAMME
Audience: ALL

The Centre for Applied Language Studies (CALS) offers classes in academic English to students whose first language is not English. To qualify for these classes you must first take a placement test. Tests will be held: 14 Sept, 4pm, Tower Extension Lecture Theatre; 16 Sept, 10am, Scrymgeour 208; 20, 21 & 24 Sept, all 4pm, all Caird House 1.16. There is no need to register.

                                    ARE YOU A POKER PLAYER?
Audience: ALL

Come and join the newly formed Dundee Uni Poker Society. Everyone welcome: all students, staff and their friends. We will provide you with regular games (sometimes for money, usually for fun) and we welcome all skill levels.                                     DUNDEE UNIVERSITY SQUASH CLUB
Audience: ALL

Any students and staff (of any standard) interested in playing squash are welcome to join Dundee University Squash Club, either by coming along to the Sports Fayre (Friday 17th September in Mono, 12-4 pm) or emailing the club at dundeeunisquash@hotmail.com. There are also male and female teams in the local leagues with places avalable. Coaching is available for players of team standard.
