• 31 Jan 99   Changed usage of Green-key access to SOMIS.. Green key areas can now be accessed from outside the campus using UserID and Password.
• 31 Jan 99   EMail and Telephone Directores became operational. For now accessible to intranet/campus users only.
• 15 Jan 99   Ceilidh Discussion Forum Software became operational. That'll be the day when it gets used.
• Christmas 98   Upgraded the Web Server to Lots Domino Go, vs.4625
• 22 Jun 98   Scottish Search Maestro, a search engine indexing all Scottish Universities became public,
• 24 May 98   Implemented two RAID arrays on SOMIS. It works! :-)
• 30 Dec 97   Upgraded the Web Server to ICSS version 4.2.1.7..
• 26 Dec 97   Applied Fixes to Operating System. (Fixpack 32 for OS2.)
• 24 Dec 97   Upgraded the server's memory to 196Mb.
•  4 Dec 97   Search Maestro a new search engine was implemented on SOMIS.
• 22 Oct 97   Court and Senate Minutes are available on the intranet.
• Autumn 97   Information for Staff became public.
• 14 Jul 97   RAE96 Database. Figures by Institution and by Unit of Assessment.
• 23 May 97   Finance Issues. VAT guidelines for VAT exemptions.
• 21 May 97   Staff Information. A Look at facts and figures relating to staff, analysis by gender occupation etc.
•  5 May 97   SWISH Simple Web Indexing System for Humans was implemented on SOMIS.
• 24 April 97   Research Income placed a downloadable file with income for the 1997/98 period.
• 24 April 97   Student FTEs placed downloadable files covering the period 1988-96/97.
• 21 April 97   HTML and WWW techjnical info, links, colours etc.
•  7 April 97   Adobe Acrobat Reader files for WinNT/95 and Macintosh.
•  4 April 97   Corel Office for Java, Beta 1 version.
•  2 April 97   Student Numbers, FTEs by Faculty and by Year 1988-97.

• 13 March 97   ABM Funding for Depts from the RAE96.
• 13 March 97   SHEFC Grant Letter for 1997/98.
